Who is sending this particular email out? I recieved one, but I refused to send my home address or anything other than a phone number. I asked for verification of who was sending me the email. Haven't heard anything back yet.
Of course, I only sent my reply email this morning.
I tried research the name associated to the email I recieved, but wasn't able to find anything yet.
Let me know, if you can, if this is spam. My college did not flag the email as a scam, but if I find out that it is, I will notify the sensoring deparment at my college.

Hi Taylor,
You shouldn't send anything. This is more than a spam a scam.
They want you to get in contact, one way or another.
The best way is to verify and contact the Company directly. In this particular case, their activity seems to be based on some fake search engine.
Please note that I've received the same letter from a different person and different email:

I have received a suspicious e-mail, supposedly from UNDP, informing me that I have won money/that I have been selected for a UNDP training programme/job. I suspect it is a scam. What should I do?
UNDP is currently aware of fictitious vacancy announcements that are being circulated through the internet, the purpose of which is to get people to register for a training and send in a fee. If you believe that you have received such a notice, please forward it, and any other related information you have received, to scamalert@undp.org. Since logos, emblems, names and addresses can be easily copied or reproduced, you are advised to take particular care in applying for vacancies, including undertaking all appropriate measures to protect against the unauthorized use of any personal information you may have provided as a result of the scam. |

| I too received a similar email and just responded to it with home phone number and a brief message not to waste my time if it is not a legitimate offer. I also stated that I would not be scammed by anyone for any amount of money, and that I have done extensive research on grants and scholarships and will not be leeched of money. |

I learned about this after my email address got hacked - and I found in my inbox, about 400 notifications of emails that couldn't be delivered... from 5:45am. If 400 didn't go through, how many did?
How can they use my email address like that?
